All-Fill Inc. has recently sponsored Malvern’s Prep Robotics Team to cover their travel expenses to future competitions and source parts and components they need for their robots.
The Robotics Club is a remarkable program offered to the students of Malvern Prep, engaging students who are looking to develop higher skills in designing and building a robot to compete against future components. Malvern’s Robotics team is working towards the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition that will be held this month. They are aiming to qualify for the Regional Championship in April at Lehigh University. Malvern Prep’s Club has been dedicating their time after hours and on Saturdays to design and build a robot to compete in Rapid React.
Dr. Kevin Quinn, mentor of Malvern’s Robotics team mentioned in a recent discussion, “One of the best educational opportunities that we provide at the school, and it simply wouldn't exist and wouldn't be as accessible without support and sponsorship.” Cade Heppelmann (Class of 2024), oversees finance/sponsorship of Malvern’s team. He mentioned in a conversation with All-Fill President/CEO, Ryan Edginton, that the Robotics team is growing significantly and are focused on raising funds to support expenses to compete in an upcoming three-day overnight trip in Mount Olive, New Jersey. This will be the team’s first district event of the FIRST Robotics competition in more than a decade and that the estimated costs are between $3,000 to $4,000.
All-Fill Inc. is proud to become a sponsor for Malvern’s Robotics Club and contribute to their education. We are excited for the team to visit our facility to see all STEM/Mechatronics and gain more insight on the future opportunities available.
